Texas Tech University Saxophone Studio Webpages 

 

Welcome to the TTU Saxophone Studio Webpage. The Texas Tech Saxophone Studio is made of up 16-24 saxophonists studying all styles of saxophone performance and pedagogy at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels. Members of the TTU Saxophone Studio have performed at the International Saxophone Symposium in Washington, DC and at North American Saxophone Alliance Conferences in Iowa, Arkansas, New Mexico, Texas and South Carolina. They have been prizewinners in the Music Teacher's National Association Competitions and finalists in the Coleman Chamber Music Competition in Pasadena, CA. The 2009-2010 TTU Graduate Saxophone Quartet Amizade was recently named an MTNA National Finalist after winning the South Central Division Chamber Music Competition.  

The Texas Tech University Guest Saxophone Artist Series welcomes distinguished saxophonists to the Texas Tech University campus for lectures, recitals and master classes. Past participants include:
